Learning Pathways
Helping our girls transition to life beyond Holme.
Our Fairholme Career Pathway Centre was developed to ensure that every student is offered an opportunity to create an exciting and authentic career plan and be supported as they successfully transition from Senior School into their pathway of choice.
Our team of Pathway Centre staff provide ongoing and accessible support and resources to help students become work-ready and confident in their own personal competencies to navigate a complex and ever-changing world.
Pathway Centre services include:
- Career development activities
- SET Plan interviews
- Resume development
- Personal statement support
- Employability skills development
- Job exploration
- Interview assistance
All students are given an opportunity to develop a ‘personal careers toolkit’ to ensure that when they move into their adult lives, they are well equipped to make key decisions about their career pathways and have an ‘archive of experience’ that they gathered whilst in middle and secondary school.
Pathway Planning
Students are assisted to map out their individual action plan tailored to meet their personal aspirations, interests and potential.
Pathway Programs
Students explore career interests, gain industry qualifications and develop new learning strategies, all while contributing to an ATAR.
Life Beyond Fairholme
As they enter Years 10, 11 and 12, our girls are deliberately prepared to launch into life beyond Fairholme.
Life Skills
Equipping our students in Years 8-12 with the personal skills they need to negotiate the increasingly complex world in which they live.
