at Fairholme
At Fairholme College, our aim is both beautifully intricate and profoundly simple: that our students may develop into lifelong learners and thinkers.
'Developing her academic wellbeing, her intellectual enthusiasm and her social confidence.'
The Fairholme learning journey enables girls from Kindy to Year 12 to understand that intellectual ability is not necessarily pre-determined from when they join us; it can be developed through perseverance, enthusiasm and a willingness to discover and respond to feedback.
Our dedicated staff members value independent learning and encourage girls to be lateral in their thinking across:
Girls learn to stimulate and expand their intellectual curiosity through reading, asking and debating but also learn when to listen and absorb.
Through the myriad of opportunities offered at Fairholme College, your daughter’s learning journey will develop her academic wellbeing, her intellectual enthusiasm and her social confidence, giving her a set of skills to carry her through further education and beyond, towards a life fulfilled by work, relationships and service to their communities.
'Starting the fire of a love of learning.'
Having the privilege of a vibrant and wonderfully unique mix of personality, learning styles, individual tastes and biological make-up amongst our students, we dedicate our energy and focus to these aspects in maximising each one’s learning experience:
We celebrate both participation and excellence, individual achievement of the highest calibre and standard, and all that can be achieved through the joy and collaboration of team work.
The academic reputation of the College goes from strength to strength, with our students continuing to achieve outstanding results each year.
It is my delight to support and guide our students in starting the fire of a love of learning.
