Scholarships are awarded to students in areas of excellence in conjunction with demonstrating exceptional character, including qualities such as integrity, leadership, initiative, care and compassion for others.

We welcome new and existing students entering Year 7 or Year 10 in 2026 to apply for a Fairholme College Scholarship.
Applications close midnight AEDST Sunday 2 February 2025. All applicants for 2026 Scholarships are required to sit the ACER exam to be held on Saturday 22 February 2025.

Students may apply for multiple Scholarship categories, but only one scholarship will be awarded per student. Please note: If you are applying for more than one Scholarship category, you only need to complete and submit a single application form.

In the awarding of such bursaries, consideration will be given to a student’s engagement in school life through academics, The Arts, leadership, service, sport, or a combination of these.

The Glasgow McDowall Bursary will be offered in 2027 to a student commencing boarding as a Year 10 student in 2028. Registration will open for this bursary in late October 2026.

First Nations Scholarships are awarded to girls of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage from Year 7 to 12 at Fairholme College. They provide exceptional educational opportunities for First Nations girls who have the potential to lead within their community.
