Pam Stains joined Fairholme College in 2016. She has taught and led in several independent schools in Queensland, and has experience in all boys’, co-educational and all girls’ schooling environments. Pam holds a Bachelor of Education (Primary), a Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling and completed the Women’s Advanced Leadership Program through the National Excellence in School Leadership Institute (NESLI).
She is a member of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders and Australian College of Educators.
Pam has an interest in the link between social and emotional learning and academic achievement and is currently undertaking her doctoral studies in this area. She is also passionate about research surrounding the social and emotional development of boarder girls, having attended boarding school herself for secondary schooling.
Pam strives to help girls develop into young women of integrity, who are confident, compassionate, and optimistic about their future.
