Tom McCormick - Head of Senior School

Tom McCormick started at Fairholme in 2021. He holds degrees in Politics & International Relations, Education and a Masters in Education-Leadership and Management. He has taught and led in several independent schools in Manchester, London and Brisbane. He has also completed both his Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher AITSL certification stages.

Much of his career has been spent in schools around the world that provide remarkable educational opportunities for young women, opportunities that nurture their development in Christian faith and promote the development of character alongside both traditional and contemporary learning. He is highly passionate about girls’ education and the important role which girls’ schools play in enabling young women to reach their full potential.
